They're drastically changing the drawing style of Archie comics. I haven't read any of the comics in about 15 years, but I read the comic strip via the Houston Chronicle's site, so I'm wondering if it's going to be adopting the new style at some point. Then perhaps they can pull a "Funky Winkerbean" and transform it from a gag-a-day strip into a soap opera strip in which tragic events happen repeatedly.

Since your Christmas tip envelope was inserted into today's paper, perhaps you should have made more of an effort to get it closer to the door of my apartment this morning.

I posted this over on baseballrelated.com because I know my father occasionally reads that, but it's probably more apropos to this blog: a 15-second station ID from the independent television station of my youth, WTOG in St. Petersburg, Florida. (In the summer of 1993, I interned on their 10:00 P.M. news a few nights a week, mainly compiling and collating scripts and running their old-timey QTV brand prompter. Their news department is now a thing of the past.)
