Sunday, December 22, 2002Public transportation from a parallel universeThis is a picture of the Chicago 'L' disguised as a New York City el. It's very amusing, especially since Chicago 'L' cars are much different-looking than New York subway cars; for one thing, 'L' cars are a lot smaller than subway cars because the curves are tighter. The actual cars used on the R line are long enough that they have four doors on each side. |
