Taking the bus home this afternoon, I yanked on the cord to request my stop. The bell didn't ding, and the LED display at the front of the bus didn't change to "stop requested" as it's supposed to do when a stop has been requested. I yanked it a couple more times, and the driver yelled back at me, "Take it easy! It's on already!"

So I'm sure you understand when I say I can never take the bus again.
